Ask your AI who else is building it

Connect FellowMakers to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. Describe a product or an idea in your own words, and your assistant finds what makers are building around it: the products doing the same job, the ones that could use it and the ones it leans on.

Add it to your assistant

  • Claude

On claude.ai or in the desktop app: Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector. Paste the URL and, if it asks how people sign in, choose No sign-in. On a Team or Enterprise plan an owner adds it under Organization settings › Connectors.

  • Claude Code

Signed in with the claude.ai account you added it to, it is already there. Otherwise, in a terminal:

$ claude mcp add --transport http --scope user fellowmakers https://fellowmakers.app/mcp
  • ChatGPT

On a paid plan, turn on Developer mode in Settings, then on the Plugins page choose + › Add custom MCP server, paste the URL and no authentication. In a chat, type @ and choose it.

  • Codex

    One command in a terminal:

$ codex mcp add fellowmakers --url https://fellowmakers.app/mcp
  • Anything else

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP takes the same URL.

What it can see

Reads
Products, what their homepages said when they were read, the waves they belong to and how projects relate.
Never
People. No builder’s name, profile or post leaves through it.
Keeps
Your questions, with what they found and when, to see what people look for. Not tied to you.

Tools

  • search_projects

Products by what they do, the problem or whom they are for.

  • find_neighbours

What does the same job, could use it, leans on it or works alongside.

  • get_project

One product and what its homepage says.

  • search_waves

Ideas that keep coming up across projects.

The protocol, sign-in for other tools and the HTTP API are on Developers.
