Add your project
Everyone on FellowMakers.app got here the same way: they asked to connect, in public, on X. Nobody is added who did not ask, and nothing on a card comes from anywhere but what its owner wrote.
If you already posted
If you posted the sentence, or answered someone who did, your card is probably here already: search for your name or handle. Sign in with the X account that wrote the post and the card is yours: change the name, the place, the sector, the bio and the link, or remove the card in one step. What you change is kept through every import and shown as yours, with the date, beside the words from your post.
If you did not
Sign in with X and write your card there: your name, what you are building and one line on what it is, a link, where you are, a short introduction in your own words, and, if you like, whom you would like to meet. You agree to its being published under your X handle when you send it.
A card written this way is read by a person before it appears. Requests are taken in batches, so allow a few days; when the card is up it is at /people/@yourhandle, and it is yours to edit or remove like any other. Until then only the site's administrators can read what you wrote, and withdrawing it from your profile deletes it; the privacy page says exactly what is kept.
You can also do what everyone else did: post on X that you want to connect and say what you build. The posts are read by hand, most recent first, and a reply to one of the posts that asked is picked up within days. To make sure yours is, write to complains@fellowmakers.app with a link to it.
What a card shows
Your name and handle, what you build, where you are if you said, whom you want to meet if you said, and your own words, quoted as written and linked to where you wrote them. Places, roles and everything else are self-reported and marked as such. Anyone who says they are under 18 is left out, and no age is stored.
Changing your mind
Sign in and remove the card; it is gone in one step and later imports do not bring it back. Without an account, write to complains@fellowmakers.app naming the X account and it is removed without questions. The about page explains the method and its limits.
