Keep work on hardware you control
Some builders make local processing, local storage or self-hosting a defining part of the product.
Small browser utilities process documents, images or identifiers locally. Larger workspaces and agents keep work on a computer or a self-hosted system. These are different promises: local files do not establish local-only model inference, and some products also support hosted models. The shared idea is giving users a concrete choice over where part of their work happens.
